Faye Green

A little about me

Bedfordshire, 2000

Inspired by historical events and the people around her, Faye Green transforms this into unique illustrations that are applied to a diverse collection of surfaces. Her work is aiming to connect people through the experiences we share, highlighting the importance of communication. Currently she is exploring these themes while also connecting them to the events that have occurred because of Covid-19. Trying to capture the range of emotions felt at this time, moments for future generations to remember and be educated from.

She encapsulates these events through her simplistic illustrations, each one created by a minimalistic line, stripping away all identity by removing small details, colour and faces. Leaving an image that anyone could relate to or form a personal connection. Hoping to provoke the viewer to use their own imagination to fill in the missing details for a personalised experience that will be original to themselves.

She is currently studying at Cardiff metropolitan university specialising within ceramics. Hoping to venture into a masters within project management for creative practitioners.

Faye is also working as an exhibiting artist around the United Kingdom.
